Design: I specialize in customizing an efficient plan for your life focusing on
solar orientation, site features, and environmentally responsible building
practices and materials. Regardless of the size or budget of your project, I use
the same design philosophy and attention to detail. Let's build a structure we
can all be proud of!
Project Management: (limited area only) Save time, money, and stress by
hiring a third party to look out for your best interests. Use my knowledge of the
construction business, and the sequencing required to complete a project within
an efficient time frame. My goal is to ensure your project is completed to the
highest standards, and all details compliment the timber frame architecture.
Furthermore, wouldn't it be nice to have another pair of eyes on your project,
representing you while you are away from the site, for short or long periods of
time?
Consulting: If you are building with a set of plans obtained by an architect,
designer, plan book, contractor, or modular home company, and you need a
professional opinion as to whether the plan can be modified to accommodate
timber framing, I can do that. I am comfortable reading plans, translating them
into three-dimensional space, and walking home owners spatially through them.
Bid/Construction Sets: The plans that I produce are able to be used to get
bids by multiple companies, saving you valuable time and money. I can produce
construction sets detailed enough for any timber framer or experienced
carpenter to use. I can also recommend some great timber framers that I have
worked with to cut the frame for you!
Do It Yourself Plans: Do you have some know-how and are you looking to
save some money? Do as many of my customers have done and cut the frame
yourself. I would be happy to produce plans for you that will allow you to do just
that. Plan packages consist of drawings that you will need to cut your own frame.
These consist of but are not limited to: All bent drawings, side elevations, timber
order sheet, a 3d model of the frame, all joinery detail drawings, and support by
me throughout the entire process. I can also help you with all the architectural
building details and plans that you may need to finish off the project.
